PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LAW
AKS Architecture Engineering Construction Tourism Industry and Trade Inc. “KONAKS OTEL”, as the Data Controller, has prepared this “Information” letter in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”). In accordance with Article 10, “Data Controller’s Obligation to Disclose,” and Article 11, “Rights of the Data Subject,” of the KVKK, we would like to inform you about the purposes for which your personal data will be processed, to whom and for what purposes your processed personal data may be transferred, the method and legal basis for collecting your personal data, and your other rights listed in Article 11 of the KVKK:
Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data
AKS Architecture Engineering Construction Tourism Industry and Trade Inc. Our company, which operates in the areas detailed in the “KONAKS OTEL” Articles of Association, collects and processes your personal data, whether verbal, written, or electronic, in accordance with the regulations of the Tourism and Revenue Administration and other relevant institutions, as well as the contracts we have entered into. This personal data will be used to provide services related to our company’s activities and to improve the quality of these services, to carry out our sales, marketing, and other activities, and to comply with our information storage, reporting, and information obligations. Additionally, your personal data may be used to enhance the quality of our services and to implement CRM (Customer Relationship Management) applications for sales and marketing activities.
Your personal data will not be used for purposes other than those specified above without your explicit consent, and will not be shared or transferred to third parties except in accordance with legal obligations and official institutions/organizations.
Our company will only disclose your personal data to you based on the explicit consent of our customers or in other circumstances stipulated in Article 5/f.2 of the Personal Data Protection Law, particularly in accordance with the legislation we are subject to. In order to provide value-added services, opportunities and facilities and to increase the quality of service, we may share your personal data with our domestic or foreign subsidiaries and direct or indirect affiliated companies and joint ventures or with public institutions or organizations authorized to request this data due to a legal obligation and, provided that adequate precautions are taken, with institutions, suppliers, authorized dealers/resellers/business partners with whom we have agreements due to our activities, at home or abroad.
Personal Data Collection Method
Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically, in accordance with applicable legislation, through channels such as our company, our partners, group companies, affiliates, dealers, agencies, and our business partners or contractual solution partners.
Keeping Your Personal Data Accurate and Up-to-Date
Those who share their personal data with our company acknowledge and agree that maintaining this information accurate and up-to-date is important both for their rights over their personal data under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and for other relevant legislation. They also acknowledge and declare that they will be solely responsible for any responsibilities arising from providing inaccurate information. Deletion, Destruction, or Anonymization of Your Personal Data
Your personal data processed for the purposes specified in this informational text will be processed in accordance with Article 6698 of the Personal Data Protection Law. According to 7/f.1, when the purpose requiring processing is eliminated and according to Turkish Penal Code Article 138, when the periods determined by law have passed, it will be deleted, destroyed or anonymized and will continue to be used.

Protection of personal data is a crucial issue for our company. Our company takes the necessary measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Our company is committed to keeping your personal data confidential, taking all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure confidentiality and security, and exercising due diligence. Despite our company’s implementation of necessary information security measures, if personal data is damaged or accessed by third parties as a result of attacks on the website or system, our company will immediately notify you and the Personal Data Protection Board.
Other Rights Listed in Article 11 of the KVKK
By contacting our company, you may request that your personal data:
You have the right to a) Learn whether your personal data has been processed,
b) Request information if it has been processed,
c) Learn the purpose of processing and whether it has been used in accordance with its purpose,
ç) Know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, both domestically and internationally,
d) Request rectification if your personal data is incomplete or inaccurate,
e) Request deletion/destruction under the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Personal Data Protection Law,
f) Request notification of the actions taken pursuant to subparagraphs (ç) and (d) above to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
g) Object to any adverse outcome arising from analysis by exclusively automated systems,
ğ) Request compensation if you suffer damages due to unlawful processing.
